Forgotten Engravings is a one-man workshop, not a factory or a large company.

Every product you see in my shop is personally handcrafted by me in my small workshop in Oeffelt, the Netherlands.

From selecting the wood and preparing the materials to engraving, finishing, and packaging, I handle every step myself.

There is no production line, no warehouse full of ready-made products, and no team working behind the scenes. Each piece is individually created with patience, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.

When you order from Forgotten Engravings, you are purchasing something made by one craftsman, especially for you.

Handmade to Order – Production Time

Because I personally make every item, production can take up to 14 calendar days before shipping.

This allows me to give each piece the attention it deserves without compromising on quality.

Your patience is genuinely appreciated. Handmade craftsmanship takes time, and I believe the finished result is worth the wait.

Please note: Production time and shipping time are separate.

Worldwide Shipping

Forgotten Engravings ships worldwide from my workshop in Oeffelt, the Netherlands.

Every completed order is carefully packaged and shipped using international delivery services, including UPS.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number so you can follow its journey.

USA Shipping – No Additional Import Duties

NO EXTRA IMPORT DUTIES OR CUSTOMS CHARGES FOR USA CUSTOMERS

All orders shipped to the United States are sent Delivered Duty Paid (DDP).

This means that I personally take care of all applicable U.S. import duties, tariffs, and customs clearance charges.

The total shown at checkout, including your selected shipping option, is the final amount you pay. You will not be asked to pay additional import duties or customs charges upon delivery.

I want my American customers to order with confidence, without worrying about unexpected customs bills when their handmade piece arrives.

Shipping & Delivery Times

All orders are shipped from the Netherlands after production is complete.

Production time: Up to 14 calendar days before dispatch.

International shipping time: Approximately 14–21 business days after dispatch, depending on the destination and shipping service selected.

These are two separate periods. Shipping time begins only after your item has been completed and handed over to the carrier.

Delivery times are estimates and may occasionally be affected by customs inspections, holidays, transport disruptions, or circumstances beyond my control.

A tracking number will be provided once your order has shipped.

Customs & Import Taxes – Countries Outside the USA

For orders shipped to destinations outside the United States, customs duties, VAT, import taxes, or other charges may apply according to local regulations.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise at checkout, these additional charges are the buyer's responsibility and are not included in the product price or shipping fees.

Please check your country's import regulations if you are unsure about possible charges.

Lost or Damaged Parcels

I personally inspect and carefully package every item before shipping.

However, international transportation can occasionally involve unexpected problems.

If your order arrives damaged, please contact me as soon as possible, preferably with photographs of the item and its packaging.

If your parcel appears lost or has not arrived within the expected delivery period, please contact me so I can investigate with the shipping carrier.

I will do my best to resolve any shipping issues fairly and promptly, in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
