Refund & Returns Policy

At Forgotten Engravings, each item is carefully handcrafted and often custom engraved. Please read our refund policy carefully before placing an order.


EU Customers – Right of Withdrawal

For customers within the European Union, you have the right to request a return within 14 days of delivery, in accordance with EU consumer protection law.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused and in its original condition

  • The item must be returned in its original packaging

  • Proof of purchase is required

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.


Non-EU Orders (Outside the European Union)

We do not accept returns or refunds for orders shipped outside the European Union.

This is due to customs duties, import taxes, and administrative fees that are charged when returned items re-enter the EU. These costs are non-refundable and make returns from non-EU countries impractical.

By placing an order from outside the EU, you acknowledge and agree that all sales are final, except in the case of damaged or incorrect items.


Custom & Personalized Items

Returns or refunds are not accepted for:

  • Custom-made items

  • Personalized engravings

Unless the item arrives damaged or defective.


Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect:

We will evaluate the issue and provide a suitable solution.


Refunds

Once an eligible return is received and inspected:

  • You will be notified of approval or rejection

  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method

  • Shipping and customs charges are non-refundable


Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.
